High-precision tooling systems, including new EWA fine boring tool

Ruemlang, Switzerland – August 14, 2019 – BIG KAISER, a global leader in premium high-precision tooling systems and solutions for the metalworking industries, will showcase its industry-leading portfolio of high-precision boring tools at EMO 2019 in Hannover, Germany, September 16-21, 2019.

At Stand B14 in Hall 3, BIG KAISER will be presenting its full range of high precision systems, including the new EWA, an intelligent fully automatic fine boring tool, which will be demonstrated at the booth on a FANUC CNC machine. The EWA can run in fully automatically mode without a human operator and does not need to be stopped for performing measurements and manual fine boring tool adjustments. This enables extremely accurate, fast and cost-effective fine boring with significant time savings.

As well as the EWA, visitors will also see BIG KAISER’s EWE Downsize, the world’s smallest digital fine boring head, which connects wirelessly to smartphones, tablets and smart watches using an app developed by the company.

The booth will also have on display the updated version of BIG KAISER’s Hydraulic Chuck with Switchable Coolant Supply (HDC-J) for high precision cutting, as well as the highly accurate HSK-E50-HDC hydraulic chucks. Additionally, BIG KAISER will show its new MEGA Micro Coolant Nut, for its MEGA Micro Chuck 6S that enables a more efficient coolant supply to the micro cutting tool, which is ideal for high speed micro machining up to Ø6. Finally, visitors can see firsthand the company’s latest additions to its comprehensive range of high-precision turning tools.
